This pamphlet must be given to each homeowner/occupant. Please review the rules on how and when this pamphlet should be given to the homeowner/occupant.

In order to be a "certified firm" you must submit this application to the EPA for approval. It can take 90 days for the EPA to approve your application. Completing the "Certified Renovator" class does not qualify your firm, your firm's application must also be approved by the EPA.
Use the checklist when performing work in order to comply with the EPA RRP Rules. You may also want to add giving out the Renovate Right brochure to your checklist and other regular duties.
After July 6, 2010, contractors are also required to provide training and work practice information to the owner and occupants. The EPA's "Sample Renovation Recordkeeping Checklist" may be used for this purpose.
