The work is not done under the supervision of an EPA Certified Renovator.

The individual(s) working on the project has not received training in lead safe practices for homes built prior to 1978 by an EPA Certified Renovator.

You have not complied with any one of numerous requirements of the EPA rules for renovating, repairing or painting homes built prior to 1978.
You can obtain the EPA training required to become a Certified Renovator by taking this course provided by Seagull Environmental Management Company, Inc. and assisted by Kinberg Contractor Training.
The EPA Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Certified Course is taught at Kinberg Contractor Training, usually on Wednesdays (call to check our schedule) from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm at:
